My Calendar
Have you ever had the wish to have your own calendar in your room? I mean, your very own calendar, filled with photos, filled with memories. This year, I’ll get it. Auro will make a beautiful calendar (like last year) with photos from Vana’diel I chose myself (that’s new). I’d like to comment and show you the photos I have chosen.
January: “The Iceflower King”

When we did this Leujeolalala Cleansing Assault where we had to kill those worms, I discovered these flowers during the first run. During the second run, I stopped following the others and took a few seconds to stand there and take photos. This photo shows the icy cold of January.
February: “Lonely Cheryblossom Festival”

The Doll Festival 2007 was pretty lonely. I remember gathering with nearly the whole Linkshell the years before to take some great and funny photos. In 2007 we didn’t really do that. So I took some photos alone. This photo shows the lonely February but also the beginning of a bright spring full of cherry blossoms.
March: “Water Lily Isle”

Once, Chaosi told me about a secret isle in Caedarva Mire. He said it was awfully beautiful and that you could walk over the leaves of the water lilies on the water. I didn’t believe him first. How could a location in Caedarva Mire actually be beautiful? One day I checked this isle and I realized he was right (as always). This photo shows the mysterious atmosphere and the joy about the start of spring.
April: “Water of spring”

The first time I visited the Tavnazian Architralala, Jadzia came to be our tourguide. We visited many wonderful locations like the panorama of Tavnazia, the Dragon Sea and the Waterfall. For me, it was the most impressive waterfall I had ever seen. (I think the frozen Waterfall in Ululu Range is as impressive as this one.) I took many photos – also a “Vom Winde verweht” (Gone with the Wind) photo under a tree. Even though, this is the photo I like the most as it’s not normal. With normal I mean: it’s not the typical photo you chose as representative photo of Tavnazia. This photo shows the warm spring, the water that has melt, the flowers that start blooming…
May: “Flower Rain”

One day, Chaosi suddenly started talking about being a Treant and doing adventures with a Mandy Princess. That was really strange. He was talking about the Plant friends of Babban Ny Mheilea who wanted to find a city. Later, he said that the Princess had given him a special present and that he wanted me to see it. So I came to meet him in Sarutabaruta [S] in front of the Gate to Windurst [S]. He really did show me a special present: The most beautiful flower rain I have ever seen. This photo shows the beginning of the summer: A rain of flowers.
June: “Dancing in the Ocean”

The Purgonorgo Isle is the most popular beach and the most romantic location in the world. Everybody loves to watch the sunset, the red sand, the colorful clouds and the violet water. Even though, you should not forget the beauty of a lonely night. This photo shows the coolness of a wonderful summer night.
July: “Sunset in the Sky”

Even though the sunset at Purgonorgo Isle is considered to be the most beautiful one, the sunset in front of the Sky (I know it’s called Riverne and not Sky but I used this word here because I want to use it. If you know me, you know why.) is not to be overseen. I was waiting there one evening with Chaosi for the other members of our Chains of Promathia Static to arrive. This photo shows the colorful sunset of a warm evening in summer.
August: “A Sunbreeze of Chocobos”

Each year, the Sunbreeze Festival was more or less the same: Fireworks, Yukata, Decoration, Dancers, Goldfishing. This year was quite different. It didn’t really have something to do with the festival itself. It was during the festival time when I met those incredibly cute Chocobo chicks at the Tree in Windurst Woods. Chocoschnu and Chococris were so cute; I would have let any party die just to play with them! This photo shows the joy you can feel during the late summer nights at the Sunbreeze Festival.
September: “The blue fire of the Witches”

Some of you might know that during the Crystal War, the Yagudos captured Pixies in bottles to make them their slaves. It happened that we had a party in Oztroja and obtained some of these Pixie bottles. In order to release them, we had to travel to Grauberg and put the bottles under a mysterious waterfall. After releasing the Pixies, we walked around and discovered several springs with glowing water and white flowers. Pixies and Wind Elementals were all over the place. It is a mystical and magical location: Witchfire Glen. This photo shows the harmony of a cool night at the end of summer.
October: “The Dark Lilies”

In October, the Harvesting Festival takes place. It’s a Halloween festival where everyone dresses as Monster, Pumpkin or Witch. This year, the Moogles provided us with special cloaks: Eerie Cloaks. They look so awesome and so dark. What I like most about them are the golden moons. We look like the Dark Lilies. This Photo shows the beginning of the cold fall and the danger of darkness.
November: “Snowy Sunset”

When we did our trip to Ululu Range, there were many beautiful spots we visited as tourists. Although the places we visited as adventurers are much more interesting. This is why I really like this photo where we are resting in the snow during sunset. This photo shows the romantic atmosphere of an adventure in the eternal snow.
December: “Glowing Bamboo Dolls”

This photo is actually not a photo taken in December and it has no real connection to this month. It was taken in February during the Doll Festival 2007. When I got this incredibly cute Doll-shelf, I decided to put it between the glowing Bamboo branches I got from the last Celestial Night Festival. Yes, this festival was in December. I really adore all of the event items that decorate my MogHouse. I just love arranging my stuff and then inviting my friends so we can meet in my cute windurstian home. This photo shows the cold winter time, when you prefer staying in your warm home.
Cover: “Sexy Yuuzuki”

Have you ever seen this Photo in one of the rooms in Norg? If not, you should hurry and find it. What I am doing on this photo (this information is for blind people) is the following: I am trying out the same pose as this sexy Mithra, of course. What did you think? This photo shows the funny side of Vana’diel.
